good news and bad news
My motherboard is fried. Replacing it and having someone put it in will cost as much as what my computer originally cost. So, I will finally be forcing myself into the mac world(and deeper in debt-yay!). Thankfully, I can retrieve everything including my almost 140 GB of extremely rare and obscure music(my soul). So long pc's!

welcome to the dark side. after a year here, i tried to simply open itunes on my mom's pc and found that my brain has been completely rewired.
glad you didn't lose the good stuff!
The expense of a mac sucks, but its well made up for...you will no longer be cursing at your computer because crap constantly goes wrong on a pc.
